Miles for Muscles

Miles for Muscles is our new annual appeal campaign aimed at raising awareness and funds to support those impacted by muscle-wasting conditions.

We encourage all our members, supporters, family & friends to take on the challenge by choosing an activity that engages your muscles and then setting a goal for the number of miles you will complete.

Whether you walk, bike, run, swim or drive (virtual included), the choice is yours! Have some fun and take part during the week of Monday 16th – Sunday 22nd September.

It is easy to take part – all you have to do is head to our fundraising website at www.milesformuscles.org.nz to register.

Then by spreading the word via social media and email to everyone you know you will help raise money to keep our vital services that support members movin’.

You can participate as an individual, ask your friends to join your team, or find out what your friendly fieldworker is planning. If your child wants their school to take part and do a fun ‘wheels day,’ simply click here for a Schools Pack.

And since everyone loves free stuff, once you’ve raised $100, you’ll receive our new vibrant Miles for Muscles t-shirt PLUS you’ll go into the draw to win a mystery prize.

This year the faces of the campaign are our very own members, Mads and Harper Harrison, from Greymouth.  They have kindly shared their story as part of the Miles for Muscles campaign. You can read it by clicking here.
