Roll 1k for MDA is MDANZ's National Annual Appeal for 2022.

It‘s a wheelie fun challenge that anyone and everyone can take part in!

We’re calling on people across the country to simply roll 1km on any kind of wheels during the week of 19 - 25 September, and fundraise for MDANZ at the same time.

Together we will raise awareness of children and adults who have a lived experience of neuromuscular conditions.

Get creative – decorate your wheelchair, electric scooter or walker, put on a pair of roller skates, grab a skateboard, jump on a trike or bike.

It’s really easy to take part – all you have to do is head to the Roll 1k for MDA website to register and create your own fundraising page.

Then start spreading the word via social media and email to everyone you know asking them to register as well, or they can donate to your fundraising page.

This year we are raising funds for our branches to continue running member events so families can connect, receive support and continue to be visible in the community.

Everyone loves free stuff and that’s why once you’ve raised $50, you’ll receive a stylish Roll 1k for MDA t-shirt from us just to say “thank you”.

You can roll as an individual, ask your friends to join a team with you, or find out what your friendly fieldworker is planning.

If you are a school wanting to take part, or you would like to share information with your child's school, email Kristin for a Schools Pack on [email protected].
