Keeping in shape for wheelchair users


This resource was created by a mother who saw a gap in information available to her son who had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and had started to use a wheelchair more often. It is directed at the wheelchair user and explains why it is useful to maintain a good posture and stretch as well as encouraging sports and other activities for overall better health.
