These are groups that meet face to face. Some of them are run through MDANZ and others are run by members.

Nationwide

Livewire

This is a free, safe and fun online community for young people aged over 10 and under 21 years living with a serious illness, chronic health condition or a disability. Northern Region

Auckland

On the last Wednesday of the month a group of people with Neuromuscular conditions meet. For more information please email Serena or text 021 174 4885.

The Wilson Home Trust host a pre-school playgroup on the 1st Wednesday of every month. Swimming is also open for all at the Wilson Home Trust every Monday from 3pm-4pm. For information email 

Canterbury Region Support Groups

CMT 

Open invite to MDANZ members to join the Christchurch CMT support group who meet in the Northland Mall once a month. Members with other conditions are also welsome. Contact Paul Arthur on 03 354 3943.

Myotonic Dystrophy

Contact Paul Graham the Canterbury Fieldworker if you are interested in meeting once a month. Transport may be provided if this is a barrier to attending 0800 463 22 or 021 126 1209.
